Student Agriculture Ambassadors

During the Youth Fair, Ag Ambassadors work at The Barn, helping judges, manning arena gates and handing out ribbons and awards. They take a chaperoned trip around Florida to visit a variety of agriculture settings, from a dairy farm to chicken hatcheries. Students appreciate the opportunity for an inside look at what it could mean for them to have a career in an agriculture related field.

Applicants submit an essay describing why they want the job along with an application form. Requirements include traveling to events and schools to give talks that promote the agricultural program at the Youth Fair.
