The Youth Fair’s Be There! 5K presented by Baptist Health

BE THERE to celebrate the Youth Fair’s opening weekend and be a part of this FUN run/walk with your family and friends. Participants will get a one-time behind-the-scenes view of the fairgrounds, as they make their way from the parking lot and through the midways during closed hours. This event supports the Youth Fair’s Scholarship program. All participants will receive a race medal, race t-shirt, swag bag and one complimentary admission ticket to the March 15 or March 16.

Volunteers

Calling all volunteers! We’re looking for energetic individuals to help us with this fun run/walk. Check out all race-related volunteer opportunities below.

Course

The BE THERE 5K begins at the main entrance of The Youth Fair. Participants will run through Tamiami Park then enter the fairgrounds to run alongside the rides, concessions stands, exhibits and cross the finish line on Main Street inside the fairgrounds. The course map will be emailed to participants.

Spectators

Do you have someone who would like to watch the race? Spectators are allowed however, those who want to watch the race will need to purchase an admission ticket to The Youth Fair. This ticket can be used to return to The Youth Fair later that day during regular operating hours. Spectator Tickets sales and information coming soon.

Youth Fair Scholarship Program

Proceeds from the Youth Fair's Be There! 5K will benefit the Miami-Dade County Fair and Exposition's scholarship program. The Miami-Dade County Fair & Exposition, Inc. is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to enriching the community by promoting education and South Florida agriculture while showcasing and rewarding youth achievement. We accomplish this by producing a first-class fair with quality entertainment and providing facilities for year-round events.
